What's NOT included (and why)
- • Equipment. Your offshore hire uses their own laptop and internet. This keeps our costs (and yours) low. If you need to ship company hardware, we can coordinate — but it's not standard.
- • Benefits and insurance. Offshore hires are independent contractors, not W-2 employees. You don't pay payroll tax, health insurance, or 401(k) on their compensation. That's a big part of the 60–75% savings.
- • Office space. All hires work remotely. No co-working stipend, no office lease. If your hire prefers a co-working space, that's their choice and their cost.
- • Overtime premiums. Pricing covers a standard 40-hour week. If you need surge capacity (e.g., during a product launch or Q4 rush), we can negotiate hourly overflow — but it's quoted separately.
Frequently asked questions about pricing
Are there any setup fees or onboarding charges?
No. The monthly rate covers everything: sourcing, vetting, shortlisting, interviewing, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing account management. There are no hidden fees.
Can I hire part-time instead of full-time?
Yes. Part-time hires (20 hours/week) are available at roughly 55–60% of the full-time monthly rate. Minimum engagement is 20 hours/week — we don't do 5-hour-a-week arrangements because the onboarding investment doesn't pay off at that scale.
What happens after the first 30 days?
After the 30-day replacement window, your hire continues on a month-to-month basis at the same rate. There are no long-term contracts, no annual commitments, and no cancellation fees. You can scale up or wind down at any time with 2 weeks' notice.
Do prices change based on the city I'm in?
No. Pricing is the same whether you're in New York or Nashville. The offshore hire's compensation doesn't change based on your location — that's part of the value proposition. What does change is your savings: a New York business saves more in absolute dollars because local salaries are higher.
Can I scale from 1 hire to 5+ over time?
Yes, and most clients do. A typical pattern: start with 1 VA or 1 developer, validate the model over 60–90 days, then scale to 3–5 hires across multiple roles. Volume pricing is available for teams of 5+ — ask on your intro call.
